Workshop: „Micro bits-Perimeter and area of a rectangle“

Activities:

  1. Task: Presentation of a micro:bit task for calculating rectangle sides, perimeter and area
  2. Programming: Using Microsoft MakeCode block to define pages, calculate and display results
  3. Testing: Checking the program on the virtual micro:bit before implementing it on real devices
  4. Implementation: Transferring the program to micro:bits for the purpose of pratical demonstration of the connection between mathematics and informatics through formulas for the perimeter and area of a rectangle
